Softer, bouncier, more stable and durableāthe redesigned Torrent 4 is all about that cushion, and honed for the trail. We upgraded the midsole compound for a lighter, cushier ride, increasing the stack height but nestling the foot securely in an Active Foot Frameā¢. Then we reworked the 5mm lugs for an even more aggressive bite, wrapping the high-abrasion rubber strategically up the outsole, and adding an extra plush sockliner for comfort for the long haul.
